How can you improve in just 1 to 3 months ?

1. Stop watching :

  • Porn;
  • Series (Netflix, Marvel, etc.);
  • TV shows and newscasts. (Read the standard newspaper instead.)
  • Or play games like: CALL OF DUTY, Mafia City, GTA V, etc;
  • Anything that is not likely to bring something instructive and constructive into your life.

Keep in mind
These kinds of distractions waste valuable time.

2. Turn off social media

Temporarily close all social media accounts, except Medium. (Use it, however, in your spare time, not all the time). Not exclusively for Medium, of course. This decision will allow you to prioritize the important things and achieve your goals more quickly.

Keep in mind
Intellect
means: the ability to reason and understand objectively, especially with regard to abstract matters. Social media is therefore more of a distraction than a real value-added to your intellect.

3. Stop eating out

It seems strange to add this to our list, but it seems obvious to me to stop doing it.

Hamburger, pizza, etc… Stop, please.

When you choose to eat out, you are making two radically opposite decisions:

One : The fastest way | (-) decision

  • You may not have time to do all of the above;
  • You are giving an entrepreneur the opportunity to earn a living;
  • By your action, you are helping to create one more job that can serve a family.
    You don’t need to remind me, I know all that.

Two : the longest way | (+) decision

But, by that same action:

  • You may be spending twice as much as you would with homemade food.
  • You are exposing your health to very serious risks. According to a George Washington University study, phthalate levels in regular restaurant eaters were 35% higher than in those who ate at home.

Phthalates are just the beginning of a very long list. I’ll let you do your own research. If you want to know more about this study, go to the link here.

Keep in mind
Phthalates are chemical compounds derived from phthalic acid. They are commonly used as plasticizers in plastics, including polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Some have been classified as carcinogens, mutagens, … by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).

So, are you ready to eat healthier? Tell me in the comments.

Let’s continue.

4. Doing sport

Go to the gym every day or do yoga every day if you are an introvert. Exercise keeps you in shape (physically and mentally). I highly encourage you to do this. For example :

  • 10 pushups a day for, then increase to 50. Gradually increase the pace.
  • If you have time, try sports that require exercise, like soccer, basketball or tennis.

Keep in mind
It doesn’t matter if you’re running on a track or jogging. Exercise is all that matters.

5. Take more responsibility.

  • Plant a tree in your home or elsewhere (only if you can take care of it);
  • Get a pet;
  • Volunteer a part your time; etc.

As long as it helps you be a little more responsible.

Keep in mind
“To great men, great responsibilities”.
If you really aspire to be great someday, you need to start by making yourself more responsible.

6. Do your part for the environment

If you can use a bike, take one to visit all the places near you (environmental preservation should concern you as much as anyone else).

Keep in mind
We are facing real dangers with the progressive degradation of the environment. We need to act accordingly and do the right thing to preserve nature.

7. Stop following

Yes…!
Stop following your idol, whether it’s an actor, singer or sportsperson. If you really want to follow someone, Mark E. Zuckerberg (Facebook), Steve Jobs (Apple), Henry Ford (Ford). You probably have more to learn from them than from your idols.

And if you want to follow the perfect one, follow your creator: God.

8. Keep these habits

  • Pray before you start your day;
  • Keep track of your daily activities;
  • Never stop comparing yourself to yesterday, otherwise you will not know if you have really progressed;
  • Spend time with your parents and grandparents. (They love you more than you love yourself).
